Common questions

How much does a ride cost in Pakistan?

A car starts at Rs 120 plus Rs 44 per kilometre and never goes below Rs 380, so a 10 km trip works out at about Rs 560 for the whole car. These are Shareide rates, effective 22 September 2026, last checked 5 October 2026.

Is this the same fare the app charges?

It is the distance part of it, from the same rate card the app uses. The app also charges by the minute, so a trip that sits in traffic costs more than the figure here. Put the minutes into the calculator to include that.

Why is a seat cheaper than the whole vehicle?

A seat is the vehicle fare shared out, so you pay for your seat instead of the whole car. Booking every seat yourself is the whole vehicle price.

Does the fare move with the petrol price?

Not automatically. The rate card is set by Shareide and reviewed against running costs. The live pump price is on the petrol price page.

Is there a minimum fare?

Yes. A short trip is charged the minimum fare, Rs 380 for a car, however short the distance.
