Our flagship safety feature -- female riders are matched exclusively with CNIC-verified female drivers. No exceptions, no workarounds. Women can share per-seat carpool rides knowing that both the driver and every co-rider in the vehicle have been CNIC-verified.
CNIC Verification
Every driver's CNIC is verified before they can offer rides. We verify identity, driving license, and criminal background. In our carpooling system, all co-riders are also CNIC-verified so you always know who is sharing your ride.
Route Deviation Alerts
Our system continuously monitors the planned route during every carpool ride. If the driver deviates from the expected path, an instant alert is sent to you and your emergency contacts. Combined with live GPS tracking shared with up to 5 family members, someone always knows exactly where you are.
SOS Emergency Button
One tap on the SOS button sends an emergency alert with your live location to the Shareide safety team, local police, and your family contacts simultaneously. Our team responds within seconds and coordinates with authorities to ensure your safety.
In-App Chat with Masked Numbers
All communication between riders and drivers happens through the Shareide app using masked phone numbers. Your personal number and information are never shared with drivers or co-riders, keeping your privacy fully protected throughout the carpool experience.

Rider Verification
All riders are CNIC-verified before they can book a seat. In our per-seat carpooling model, drivers always know exactly who is sharing their vehicle -- creating a two-way trust system where everyone on board is verified.
Trip Details Upfront
Before accepting any ride request, drivers see full trip details including destination, per-seat fare breakdown, and each rider's verified rating. No blind trips -- you always know where you are going, who is riding, and how much you will earn per seat.
Driver SOS Button
Drivers have access to the same SOS emergency button as riders. One tap alerts the Shareide safety team, local police, and your emergency contacts simultaneously. Our support team provides immediate assistance around the clock.
Fare Protection & Dispute Resolution
Our system protects drivers from fare disputes and payment issues. Per-seat fares are locked in before the carpool starts and riders are charged automatically. In case of disputes, our support team reviews trip data and resolves issues fairly and transparently.
Rider Blacklisting
Drivers can report and permanently block riders who behave badly. Repeated complaints result in immediate rider account suspension. We take driver feedback seriously and act swiftly to remove disrespectful riders from the carpooling community.

CNIC Verification for Everyone
Every driver AND every rider submits their CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card). We cross-verify both to confirm identity, age, and citizenship status. In our per-seat carpooling model, no one gets on board without being verified -- driver, rider, or co-rider.
Driver Document Authentication
For drivers offering carpool seats, we verify the authenticity of driving licenses, vehicle registration books, and vehicle fitness certificates. Our system checks document validity, expiry dates, and cross-references them with government records before they can list a single seat.
Background Screening
All driver applicants undergo comprehensive background checks. We screen for criminal records, traffic violations, and other red flags. Drivers with serious offences are rejected. For Women-to-Women Verified Rides, we additionally confirm the driver's gender to guarantee female-only matching.
Vehicle Inspection
Every vehicle used for carpooling is inspected for safety compliance including brakes, tyres, lights, seatbelts, and overall condition. Vehicles must meet our minimum safety standards and possess a valid fitness certificate from the relevant authority before offering shared seats.
Ongoing Two-Way Monitoring
Verification does not stop at onboarding. We continuously monitor driver ratings, rider ratings, co-rider feedback, and trip behaviour through our two-way rating system. Drivers or riders falling below our safety thresholds receive warnings or permanent removal from the carpooling platform.
