University and College Pick and Drop
One driver for the whole term, timed to your first class
A university timetable repeats. The same 8am lab on Monday, the same late lecture on Thursday, the same gate, week after week until the term ends. Shareide turns that into a standing arrangement: you post the campus route and the class times, drivers who already drive that road offer a per-day rate, and you take one. Three seats in a car means three classmates from one neighbourhood can split it. An 8 km run to campus is Rs 470 for the whole car and Rs 320 for one shared seat, so two trips a day across 22 working days comes to about Rs 13,900 a month per seat. Anything under about 5.9 km prices at the Rs 380 minimum, which is Rs 250 a seat.
The campus commute fails at both ends of the day. At 7am almost nobody is online to accept a booking, because the hour that suits a first period suits no driver hunting for a fare. At 4pm the whole department leaves the same gate at once. A university point service answers the timing by running one bus on one route at one time, which works if you live on that route and not at all if you do not. A standing arrangement fixes the hour without fixing the road: it runs from your own address to your own campus gate, on the days your timetable actually has classes, and it is posted by you rather than drawn up by the transport office.
What You Actually Get
The plan follows the timetable, not the calendar
You choose the days, so a Monday, Wednesday and Friday timetable is priced for three days a week rather than five. Ride days are counted forward from the start date across the weekdays you picked, so a plan starting in week four pays for the classes that are left.
Classmates on your road pay for a seat each
Shareide prices a seat at twice the whole-car fare split three ways. On an 8 km campus run that is Rs 320 a seat instead of Rs 470 for the car, and the three of you reach the same gate in time for the same lecture.
Parents can check the driver before term starts
Every driver is approved only after a CNIC check with an AI face match against the photo on the card, plus licence and vehicle verification. On a term plan that same approved person drives throughout, so it is one name and one number plate rather than whoever the app finds at 7:20am.
A department or hostel group can take the whole vehicle
A Hiace seats eight to twelve and a coaster twenty to thirty. Booked as a monthly van plan, every seat gets its own door pickup and the run ends at one destination, the campus. That is how a hostel block or a single department travels together without the university owning a bus.
Common Arrangements
What It Costs
The actual rate card — a plan's per-day figure is agreed against your route
| Vehicle | Base | Per km | Minimum | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bike | Rs 40 | Rs 15 | Rs 130 | 1 |
| Rickshaw | Rs 90 | Rs 29 | Rs 260 | 2 |
| Car | Rs 120 | Rs 44 | Rs 380 | 3 |
| AC / Premium | Rs 175 | Rs 58 | Rs 510 | 3 |
| Carry Daba | Rs 130 | Rs 38 | Rs 510 | 5 |
| Hiace | Rs 290 | Rs 73 | Rs 800 | 8 |
Fare = base + (km × per-km rate) + (minutes × per-minute rate), never below the minimum. A monthly plan does not meter each trip — you and the driver agree one per-day figure for your route, and per-seat sharing divides it. Rates effective 22 September 2026, last checked 5 October 2026; the app always shows the live price before you confirm.
