How to Calculate Petrol Cost
Litres = distance ÷ fuel average. Cost = litres × price per litre. So a 160 km Karachi–Hyderabad run in a Mehran (15 km/L) needs 10.7 litres, which at Rs 398.30 is Rs 4,249. With three people splitting it, each pays about Rs 1,416 — the whole idea behind carpooling.
