How to Check Your Trip History and Invoices
Every ride you've ever taken on Shareide is logged and searchable. Here's how to browse your trip history and pull up invoices whenever you need them.
Your trip history is more than a list of old rides — it's a running record of where you've traveled, what you paid, and which drivers you've ridden with. Whether you're trying to remember which driver you had last Tuesday or need to add up a month's worth of commute spending, the history tab has it all in one place.
Browsing your past rides
Open the Trips or History section from your Home screen or Profile tab to see a chronological list of every ride you've completed, along with cancelled or expired ones in most cases.
- Each entry shows the basics at a glance. Date, pickup and drop locations, and fare are usually visible without needing to tap in.
- Tap any ride for full details. This opens the driver's name, vehicle, exact fare breakdown, and the option to download an invoice.
- Scheduled and monthly rides appear too. If you're on a monthly subscription, each day's ride within that plan shows up as its own entry, so you can track attendance and cost day by day.
Pulling invoices for a specific period
If you need to account for a week or month of travel rather than a single ride, go through your history and download invoices for each relevant trip individually. For frequent commuters, this is also a useful way to sanity-check that a monthly plan is actually working out cheaper than booking rides one at a time — add up a week of individual fares and compare it against the subscription rate.
Why this matters beyond bookkeeping
A clear trip history is also part of how Shareide keeps rides accountable. If a fare seems off, a driver detail doesn't match what you remember, or you need to reference an old ride while talking to support, having the full record in the app means you're not relying on memory or a screenshot you may not have saved.
Reviewing your commute patterns
Scrolling back through a month of trip history is also a fairly honest way to see how you actually commute, as opposed to how you think you commute. Riders often notice patterns they hadn't paid attention to — the same route booked five days a week at almost the same time, or a habit of booking short instant rides that would have been noticeably cheaper as a single monthly plan. If you're weighing whether to switch to a subscription, this history is the most reliable evidence you have, since it reflects what you actually spent rather than a rough guess.
Frequently asked questions
Does trip history include cancelled rides?
Yes, cancelled and expired ride requests typically show up in your history alongside completed trips, though they won't have a fare or invoice attached since no ride actually happened.
Can I search or filter my trip history?
Most versions of the app let you scroll chronologically at minimum, with some builds offering date filters — check your Trips tab for a filter or search icon near the top.
Is trip history tied to my account or my phone?
It's tied to your account, so logging in on a different phone with the same account still shows your full ride history.
