Delete your Shareide account

You can permanently delete your Shareide (passenger) or Shareide Fleet (driver) account directly from the app, by submitting the form below, or by emailing our support team. App package names: com.shareide_official.shareide (passenger), com.shareide_official.shareide.fleet (driver). Developer: Shareide, contact support@shareide.com.

Option 1 — Submit a deletion request

Fill in your registered phone number so we can locate your account. Email is optional but speeds up confirmation.

Option 2 — Delete from inside the app

Shareide (passenger app):

Open the app and sign in.
Tap Profile from the bottom tab bar.
Tap Settings, then scroll to the bottom.
Tap Delete account and confirm in the popup.

Shareide Fleet (driver app):

Open the app and sign in.
Tap Profile.
Scroll down to the red Delete account button under Logout.
Confirm in the popup — deletion happens immediately.

Option 3 — Email us

If you cannot sign in (e.g. lost phone number access), email support@shareide.com from the email address linked to your account, or include your registered phone number in the body. We verify identity and delete within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

Your name, profile photo, and email address.
Your phone number is anonymized so it can be reused for a fresh signup.
Saved places, payment methods, push notification tokens, and active sessions on all devices.
Any women-only / safety verification photos you uploaded.
Driver vehicle photos and CNIC selfies (Shareide Fleet only).

What is kept (and why)

Anonymized trip history is retained for accounting and regulatory purposes (typically up to 5 years). The records are no longer linked to your identity — only ride amounts, dates, and routes remain so we can comply with tax audits.
Receipts and tax records required by Pakistani tax law (Federal Board of Revenue).
Fraud / safety flags if your account was blocked for policy violations — kept to prevent re-signups under the same identity, per our Terms.

This action is permanent. Once deleted, your account and personal data cannot be restored. If you have an active or in-progress ride, complete or cancel it first — the app and our backend will block deletion otherwise.
